Height of the pashmina goat ranges from 18” to 24” .it yields 250 to 300 grams of pashmina Per season comprising of 60% of and 40% of hair.pashmina goat produces finer and warm fiber at a higher altitudes in its natural habitat of awesome Himalayas But the manufacturing of pashmina is done on the plains of Kashmir valley by some highly skilled men and women. The average time for making of the single piece/shawl is 300 hours by hand. |
